Barbara Natoli Witt: Out of the Fire

This collection was displayed at the Marks Center for the Arts on the campus of the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California in March 2009. The theme of the show was set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the campus. The building that now houses the gallery began as a foundry, so we were asked to gather works of art that came from fire. This turned into a fascinating adventure for me in the world of antiquities that I so love.
